Actually let me rephrase that. It's 44 books that I borrowed and completed. There are a heap more I started but had to return. I will borrow them again, just in a more realistic fashion.

44 is incredible! I'm a slow reader, so I think I managed something like a dozen last year -- but two of them were close to 1,000 pages each. =]
1,000 pages - wow. Mine included children's books and novellas, as well as some longer pieces. I've slowed down too because of my schedule. So far for 2012 = 1
