Audiobook Challenge 2018 - semi-annual update

It's time to check in for the Audio Challenge 2018 hosted by Hot Listens and Caffeinated Reviewer.

There are 22 books I have 'listened' to in the first half of 2018. I've enjoyed all the stories in both story and narration.

Stephen Fry's narration of Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire is definitely the highlight when it comes to narration.

Other great narrations that encapsulated the stories and/or  characters were:

• Summer Knight  by Jim Butcher, narrated by James Marsters
• Carry On, Jeeves by P.G. Wodehouse,  narrated by Jonathan Cecil
• Flying too High by Kerry Greenwood, narrated by Stephanie Daniel
• The Time of My Life by Cecilia Ahern, narrated by Amy Creighton
• The Undead Next Door  by Kerrelyn Sparks, narrated by Deanna Hurst
• Gregor and the Curse of the Warmbloods by Suzanne Collins, narrated by Paul Boehmer
• The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life by Mark Manson, narrated by Roger Wayne) 
• The Mystery of Grace by Charles de Lint, narrated by Tai Sammons & Paul Michael Garcia

I'm on track in reaching my min. of 30 audio books for 2018.

As mentioned in my previous post, my results from last year were mixed. While I read over 126 items, they were mainly audio books and books in series not always in the TBR pile. That is I borrowed them from the library to read or listen to.

While that's fine-it allows me to discover new authors-that's not so good for the TBR piles and mine are in absolute Mt. Everest sized proportions.

So in 2018, while I will continue listening to audio, it won't be the main focus. The TBR piles will be the ones I concentrate on.
