I finally finished A Game of Thrones. As I said before, I have been savouring this book, reading it bite sized pieces. I had a 100 pages to go yesterday, and so I pushed to finish it. Actually I couldn't sleep, and what better way to pass the night than a great book.And it was just in time - as the premier of the TV series Game of Thrones starts on Foxtel tomorrow! Yay.
An amazing book, with lots of twists and turns. There was so much I didn't foresee. No spoilers, but those who have read it know what I mean. The wonderful thing is I have more to read of this wonderful tale.
Thank you George R.R. Martin for writing a rich tapestry of characters, on such a grand scale.
